The Charters Towers State High School Agricultural facility is set on approximately 9 acres and equipped with a diverse range of facilities that supports the leaning of students throughout years 9-12. The farm provides students with a hands-on understanding of how food is grown, produced and sold.
Other learning opportunities on the farm include:
- Orchard, where a variety of fruits are grown
- Beehives from which students harvest and sell honey
- Vegetable gardens and crops producing lettuce, watermelon, pumpkin, dragon fruit, cucumbers, chillies, cherry/red tomatoes
- Hydroponics
- Student classroom for agriculture lessons
