Senior Secondary is a phase of education for students in Years 10, 11 and 12, which ensures the seamless transition between school and the workforce or further study. Senior Secondary focuses on individual planned career pathways, and support for students’ wellbeing.
Senior Secondary teachers
Teachers are specialist trained to deliver senior curriculum and hold relevant qualifications to deliver VET courses.
Senior Secondary learning
Students engage in a Future Pathways Program during Year 10 which culminates in their SET Plan development and student conferencing with parents to endorse their pathway to Years 11 and 12.
All students have the opportunity to engage in flexible learning opportunities including work placement, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships and additional vocational courses offered through the Dalrymple Trade Training Centre. The curriculum choices allows students the opportunity to study subject/courses through alternate learning centres such as Schools of Distance Education.
